What you may do with the product, what the AI does and does not promise, how plans and renewals work, and what stays your responsibility.

Acceptable use
You may use MySmartPress to draft, edit and publish your own articles. You may not use it to generate content that is unlawful, infringing, or intended to mislead readers about its origin or authorship, and you may not run automated tools against it. This is enforced, not merely asked: requests for sexually explicit material, incitement to violence, practical instructions for a crime, hate speech written in your publication’s own voice, or fabricated quotes and sources presented as real are declined by the system. Reporting factually on crime, violence, sexual offences, narcotics, extremism and disaster is ordinary journalism and is not restricted.
Your content, and your responsibility for it
The raw text, press releases and media you paste into the platform, and the articles you produce from them, are yours — and so is the editorial responsibility for them. MySmartPress is not liable for copyright violations, defamation, false or misleading news, or any legal dispute arising from content you process here or publish elsewhere.
AI output disclaimer
Everything the platform writes is produced by artificial intelligence. We hold the models to strict prompt constraints, but an AI model can still produce inaccuracies, omissions, invented details or formatting errors. Sub-editors and media professionals are required to proofread, fact-check and verify every AI-edited article before publication. MySmartPress is an assistive tool and does not assume responsibility for published editorial content.
Plans and who can buy them
Plans are purchased for an organisation as a whole. Only the organisation’s owner can purchase or change a plan; every member draws from the same allowance. Individual plans (Free, Pro, Premium) are sold to one person and permit one login; corporate and agency plans permit the number of logins stated on the pricing page.
Single-user policy
On an individual plan, an account may have exactly one active sign-in at a time. If the same account signs in on a second device, the first device is signed out automatically. Sharing an individual account is a breach of these terms and may lead to suspension.
Fair usage
To protect server performance and prevent automated abuse, every plan is governed by fair-usage limits: daily or monthly caps on articles, and on Corporate Premium a monthly ceiling of 3,000 live fact-checks. Reaching a limit does not end your plan — editing on unlimited plans stays unlimited — but continuing past it needs a top-up pack or a higher plan.
Term and renewal
A paid plan runs for a 30-day term and does not renew automatically. To continue, the owner repurchases before or after the term ends. We send reminders at seven days, three days and one day before expiry, and again on the day. Recharge packs run for 90 days from purchase; fact-check packs end with the period they were bought in.
When a plan expires
If a term ends without renewal, the organisation drops to free limits and nothing is deleted. Articles stay readable and editable. Unused top-up balances are frozen rather than forfeited, and become available again on renewal, provided the pack has not reached its own expiry.
Pricing and tax
All prices shown are GST-inclusive totals in INR: the figure quoted is the amount payable, with 18% GST already included rather than added at checkout. The pricing page shows the base amount and the tax component of each price separately, for your records. The catalogue in force at the time of purchase is what applies — a later price change does not alter what an existing subscription was bought at.
Refunds and cancellation
All subscription and top-up purchases are final. Once a plan or pack is activated, the payment is non-refundable, in line with digital-service standards and payment-gateway regulations. You may stop using the product at any time; an unused remainder of a term is not refunded. The full policy is on the refund page.
Availability
We do not offer an uptime guarantee. Generation depends on a third-party model service, and a request may be refused or delayed by conditions outside our control. Where an action fails after consuming an allowance, the allowance is returned.
Ending your account
You may stop using the product at any time and request deletion through the contact page. We may suspend an account that is being used in breach of these terms, including account sharing on an individual plan.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change materially, the date at the top changes with them, and the change applies from that date.
