Everything the desk needs
Eighteen things, one allowance.
Billing is per organisation, never per seat. Every member draws from the same pool, so adding a colleague costs nothing and none of the capabilities below get rationed by headcount.
01 — Writing
Writing
Six actions, one article. Each one is a single request with a visible cost.
Generate from anything
Notes, a transcript, or a one-line angle. Choose the layout and the mood first, and the draft arrives written to that shape.
Enhance a passage
Select any part of the piece and rewrite it without regenerating the article around it.
Regenerate one section
The section you did not like goes back to the model. Everything you already edited stays exactly where it is.
Headline variants
A set of alternatives on demand, so the headline is a choice rather than whatever came out first.
Translate the finished piece
Translation runs on the cheap model, because it is a cheap action — you are not billed frontier-model thinking to move a finished article into another language.
Spin social posts
Pull short posts out of the article you already wrote, in the article’s own voice.
02 — The desk
The desk
Built for a room of three to ten people who all touch the same piece.
One allowance, not per seat
Everyone in the organisation draws from the same pool. Adding a colleague costs nothing, because a three-person desk should not pay three times to write one article.
Owner, editor, viewer
Three roles, and only the owner can buy or change a plan. Nobody can spend the desk’s money by accident.
Invite by email
Invitations carry a role and an expiry. The member cap is the plan’s, enforced at the point of invitation rather than discovered later.
Comments on any article
Threaded notes attached to the piece, so review does not migrate into a chat app and get lost.
Share links for outside review
A read-only link for someone who should see the draft but should not have a seat. Never indexed, in any environment.
Real-time co-editing
Two people in the same article, live. Concurrent-editor limits come from the plan.
03 — Control
Control
The part that matters once the novelty wears off and it is just your workflow.
Honest metering
Every action records what it really cost, read from the model’s own usage figures — prompt, thinking and output, separately. Not an estimate.
Version history
Every save is a snapshot. How far back it goes is the plan’s business; that nothing is silently discarded is not.
Fact-check with grounded sources
ProClaims extracted from the piece and checked against sources, up to twelve claims per job. A failed job refunds its own credit.
Custom house style
ProYour house style, applied to every prompt the organisation sends, without anyone having to paste it in again.
Priority model routing
ProLong-form and investigative work routed to the frontier model. Cheap actions stay on the cheap model, so you are not paying for deliberation you did not need.
Usage analytics
The whole organisation’s spend, by action and by member, with thinking tokens broken out rather than buried in a total.
Layouts
Five shapes, chosen before the first word.
The layout is an input to generation rather than a wrapper applied afterwards, which is why a four-column piece arrives as short items and a banner arrives with a hero paragraph.
-
Single
One column. The default for a straight report.
-
Double
Two columns. Comfortable for a longer feature.
-
Triple
ProThree columns. Dense, broadsheet feel.
-
Quad
ProFour columns. For a packed page of short items.
-
Banner
ProFull-bleed hero above the fold, then two columns.
Mood
Six registers, and your own on top.
Mood is set alongside the layout. On Pro it composes with the organisation's house style, so the desk's rules reach every prompt without anyone pasting them in again.
Neutral
Straight reporting. No adjectives doing argument’s job.
Analytical
Leads with the mechanism, not the moment.
Urgent
Short sentences. The news first, the context second.
Feature
Scene-setting, longer paragraphs, a human in the opening line.
Explanatory
Assumes the reader arrived without the backstory.
Opinion
Argues a position and signals that it is doing so.
Not included
What MySmartPress does not do.
- File exports
- There is no Markdown, HTML, PDF or DOCX download today. Articles live in the editor and leave it through share links and copy-paste.
- Publishing to your CMS
- MySmartPress writes the piece. Getting it into WordPress, Ghost or your own stack is still a copy and a paste.
- Automatic renewal
- Pro is a 30-day purchase you repeat deliberately. We will email you before it lapses, but we will not charge you again without you asking.
- Images
- Text only. No generated illustration, no stock search, no photo editing.
